Our Mission

Mission? Hmmmmm... I don't love the sound of that. I do realize that we consider reaching people for Christ as fulfilling "The Great Commission' but I guess we see it slightly different. To me, "Mission" has a really rigid feel. It makes me feel as though I'm lacing up my Military issued boots and shouldering my weapon. I believe that a life following Christ should be natural, relaxed and actually quite fun. I'm not denying that hardship and suffering are sprinkled in there (sometimes with greater doses than I'd like) but I believe that overall, God's Joy remains with us through each phase of our lives in Him. So I guess our "Mission" is to enjoy our God-Given Life and share The Good News with others as we are passing through.

Have We Gone Soft On Sin?

Not a chance that we've gone soft on Sin! We believe that sin is destructive to human life, it leaves people broken, destroys potential and overall makes a mess of everything it touches. Gratefully, we know that God has already paid the ultimate price for ALL sin and we trust that through His plan and a good understanding of it, we can live a life that isn't bound to sin and sin-consciousness. Once we truly learn how thoroughly Jesus defeated all sin, we can live beyond the bounds of it.
